GENERAL

SOCIETY

The elf society exists on close knit bonds. They refer to each other as brother and sister. Elves would die to fend for their people and their kingdom. As of recently, humans are the main enemy, though they will fend off demons if they come, it's humans whom the elves loathe.

They live in the forest, and the ruins. Even the Aran and Bereth live fairly close with all the others. Several families normally share the same house, but no one really minds. There are some solitary elves, but there are always black sheep.

ANIMAL FORM

All elves have the ability to transform into one animal, their spirit animal if you will. Sometimes it's an elephant, for others it's a hawk, for some its a dog with a single white spot. While in this form the elves can of course still speak if needed. They use this form to spy, to watch from hidden places, or even to infiltrate human society and the family dog. It's fairly useful, but elves that spend too long in their form will become savage.

ROYALTY


ARAN

King of the elves. Always male, shares equal authority with Bereth. Has the last word in all conflicts or plans. Also referred to as Lord. Only one.

BERETH

The queen of the elves. Always female. Shares equal authority with Aran. Has the last word in all conflicts or plans. Also referred to as Lady. Only one.

ERNIL

A prince. May suceed the king if he proves most intelligent of the children. Always male. Also referred to as Sire.

ERENEL

A princess. May suceed the queen if she proves to be the most intelligent child. Always female. Also referred to as Lady.

KALLO

The king's or queens relatives, or closest friend. Considered nobles. Not required to work or fight in the army, but they may.

MILITARY


MAETHAN

Controller of the army. May be male or female. Punished criminals, and controls all war efforts. Referred to only as Maethan, never called by name. Only one.

ERUAN

The second hand in the army. Will succeed the Maethan should he pass away. Controls army when Maethan is not present. Can be male or female. Only one.

ASTANDOS

The higher ranked fighters in the army. Can command the Ohtar if they wish. Regarded as great fighters, position appointed to best Ohtar by Maethan.

OHTAR

The common soldier of the military. Uses as pawns in combat, not regarded highly by the rest of the military.

VILLAGER

Children that are not of royal descent, elder elves who have retired as well as elves who chose to work as bakers and farmers or any profession outside of the military.

CLASSES

BARDS

Fighters of the elves.Due to their small size they must be fast and trickey. Generally employed in the military. Sometimes also have a talent for music. Weapons of choice include daggars, swords, shields, maces, staffs and their fists.

CLERIC

Elves who are skilled with healing magic. While sometimes employed in the military, they are not always. Generally these elves are kind and forgiving. Elves must be very intelligent to be within this class. Clerics almost never fight if they can avoid it.

DRUID

An elf who is quite skilled with magic, and often a bit more wild than the other elves from spending too long in their animal form. Sometimes emplayed in the army, sometimes not. Almost always more solitary than most other elves. Enjoys fighting in animal form, or using element based magic.

RANGER

These elves are almost always employed in the military. They prefer using bow and arrows to fight their battles, but are also good at throwing knives. Quieter than most elves, but not solitary.

ROGUE

These are by far the most dangerous elves. Often quiet and solitary and always ruthless. Equally employed in the military as not. Will take money to assasinate other people. Fights with daggers, poison and sometimes bows and arrows. The most cold-hearted of the elves.
