GENERAL

LIFESPAN

Lives until killed.

AVERAGE SIZE

5'2 - 6'5 in height, weighing 110 - 220 pounds when in mirror form. In true form can vary from anything.

SOCIETY

Demons by far have the worst society to live in. The Warlord is normally a tyrant who controls the demons every move, should you fail to please him he will not blink before ending you. Demons in general are very unforgiving and solitary beings.

Demons do not generally fall in love. Though they may enjoy indulging themselves in the pleasures of flesh and blood, demons don't really create any lasting bonds. They may feel the loss of a powerful Warlord, but not in the same way humans or elves would feel the loss of their leader.

MIRROR FORM

Demons cannot just prance about burning out the eyes of all who see them, that wouldn't be fun. Instead humans and elves see them as a human. Just an average human, though in weaker demons it may be harder to keep up this appearance, but normally non-demons will never see the true form of a demon.

TRUE FORM

All other demons will see your demon in this form. Only the warlord is powerful enough to shielf his true self from the eyes of other demons. This form can range from a small scorpion to a gigantic black spider with human faces plastered over it. If you can imagine it, it can exist within this form. Demons may at somepoint chose to show their true form to an elf or human, but not usually.

RANKS

ROYALTY


WARLORD

King of the demons. Generally takes male persona, has all the authority over Abyssus. Has the last word in all conflicts or plans. Also referred to as Boss. Only one.

MISTRESS

The Warlords lover, or sex slave. No authority what s ever, but do to the warlord's favoritism, is treated highly. Generally takes female persona. If Warlord dies she is demoted to Altus. Only one.

MAGNUS

Child of Warlord, may prefer female or male persona. First born will take over if the Warlord is killed.

ALTUS

The Warlord's favorite demons. Perhaps close friends, or people whom he enjoys the company of. They do not have to work or join the army, but they may.

MILITARY


IMPERATOR

Controller of the army. May prefer male or female persona. Punishes criminals, and controls all war efforts. If the Warlord passes away leaving no Magnus to succeed him, the Imperator will take his place. Only one.

SECUNDUS

The second hand in the army. May prefer either male or female persona. Will take control of the army should the Imperator be killed or step up to Warlord. Only one.

DUX

The higher ranked fighters in the army. Can command the Proeliators if they wish. Regarded as great fighters, position appointed to the favorite Proeliators by only the Warlord himself.

PROELIATORS

The common soldier of the military. Not particularly powerful, often put into positions where they have a good chance of dying to amuse the higher ranked demons.

MINIONS

Demons who do not wish to fight in the military, and are not of royal descent. Often killed or tortured by the higher ranked demons for amusement.

BREEDS

BARBARIAN

These demons generally have larger mirror forms. They are always employed with the army. They are also not the sharpest crayons in the box. They use brute force to fight, and tend to punch before they ask questions. Their fighting style consits of using just their bodies and sometimes primitive weapons such as swords and clubs.

SORCERER

One of the more intelligent and older demons who is very skilled with demonic magic, sometimes even dabble in human witchcraft. Occasionally employed with the army. Very good at torture spells, and often a little more sadistic than the other demons.

REAPER

A demon who specializes in making deals for souls. Often has a hellhound. Generally a noble demons, or a minion, they do not enjoy army duties.This demon will promise you anything in return for your soul, turning you into a demon over a period of time. No other breed of demon can make deals. Some knowledges of dark magic.

SIREN

Siren's normally have the most beautiful mirror forms. They seduce elves and humans using their sex appeal to control them. Though often seen as whores, they are quite dangerous. The army has little use for them but a few do sneak in. They don't have much in the way of fighting power however.

ASSASSIN

A demon who has lost almost every bit of humanity it once had. Can be commanded to kill anything or anyone. Extremely skilled killing machine, often employed by the army. Can fight using almost any weapons, and certain levels of dark magic. The most dangerous breed of demon.

HELLHOUNDS

Large wolf-type creature. Generally black with large glowing eyes of varying colors. Useful in killing and fighting.

EQUUS

A skeletal horse made of dark skin and bone often with bat like wings and glowing eyes. Fastest mode of transport. A good mount.
